Black Walnut Smooth Finish over Stair Railing

Hi, just finished my first project with Retique It. This stuff is awesome. I used the light wood and stained with black walnut. I just put my first coat of hard wax oil on. My question is, how many coats should I put on and how long to wait between coats? Also with the hard wax oil do you have to recoat every so often? Thanksūüėä

This is a brilliant post, thank you for sharing about black walnut smooth finish over stair railing. We always tend to change something or the other in our house, thanks for this great advice.

I was wondering if you can ever chalk paint a piece again (say a different color a year later) after you apply wax. I love the railing! Very nervous about all this!

Is it best to use ‚Äėlight wood Retique‚Äô under a Dark Stain like a Dark Walnut, Black Walnut or Special Walnut?
